One day, a man walks into a dentist’s surgery and asks how mouch it costs to extract wishom teeth.

“$8” the dentist says.

“That’s a ridiculous amount,” the man says. “Isn't there a cheaper way?”

“Well,” the dentist says, “if I don’t use an anaesthetic, I can knock it down to 60”

“That’s still too expensive,” the man says.

“Okay,” says the dentist. “If I save on electricity and tear on the tools, and simply rip the teeth out with a pair of pliers I could get away with charging 20”

“Nope,” moans the man. “It’s still too much.”

“Hmm,” says the dentist, scratching his head.“If I let one of my students on work experience have a crack, I suppose I could charge a fiver.”

“Marvellous,” says the man. “Book the wife in for next Tuesday.”

一位男士走進牙科診所，問醫(yī)生拔掉智齒要多少錢。醫(yī)生告知80英鎊，男士嫌太貴，便問如何才能便宜些。醫(yī)生說，不用麻藥可以少收20英鎊，男士仍說太貴。醫(yī)生說，如果連動點手術(shù)刀都不用，干脆用老虎鉗子硬拔，20英鎊就可以坐。男士還是搖頭。“那好吧，”醫(yī)生說，“我讓實習醫(yī)生練練手，只收5英鎊也行”
