The urban mouse
While the two girls hopped and squealed at my side, I stood as still as a chunk of cheese. “what is it?” said the car park attendant who’d come to investigate the commotion.
“it’s a mouse” I explained , pointing down to where the little guy sat on my shoe, scoping out the horizon. After a minute or so, he seemed to take a decision and lit out in the direction of the car park guy’s wooden hut.
“he’s after your sandwiches.” I said.
The attendant snorted, “he wouldn’t be running quite so fast if he know what she’d given me.”

當兩個女孩在我旁邊跳著腳大叫時，我像一塊奶酪一樣巍然不動。“那是什么？”趕過來調查這場混亂的停車人說道。
“是只老師”我解釋道，用手向下指著待在我鞋上的小家伙，超地上湊了過去。一分鐘后，他想使做了個決定，飛快地跑進停車人的小木屋里去了。
“他想要你的三明治。”我說。
停車人呼哧呼哧地說：“如果他知道她給了我什么酒不會跑那么快了。”
