你好。
這是相識(shí)的人見(jiàn)面時(shí)常用的問(wèn)候語(yǔ)。實(shí)際上不相識(shí)的人實(shí)效見(jiàn)面也有使用的。有時(shí)還可以說(shuō)：
How have you been?
你近況如何？
How is everything with you?
一切都好嗎？
How are you getting on with your work?
近來(lái)工作怎么樣？
回答通常為：
Fine, hank you. /’m very well, thank you. /Pretty well.
很好，謝謝。
About the same as usual.
和平時(shí)差不多。
Not too bad.
還不錯(cuò)。
當(dāng)然，如果不好還可以說(shuō)Not too well actually.
2. You’re welcome to the fair.
歡迎光臨交易會(huì)。
welcome 在這里是形容詞，受歡迎的意思。其后可以接名詞，不定式，也可以什么都不接。
You’re welcome to Shanghai.
歡迎你來(lái)上海。
You’re welcome to the use of my desk / some more fish.
歡迎你（請(qǐng)隨便）用我的桌子/再來(lái)點(diǎn)魚(yú)。
Everybody is welcome to have a try.
歡迎每個(gè)人都來(lái)試一試。
All suggestions are welcome.
任何建議都?xì)g迎。
--Thank you for helping me.
謝謝你的幫助。
--You are welcome.
別客氣，歡迎你有事就來(lái)。
3. I spent the whole morning going through the halls.
我一個(gè)人上午在大廳到處看了看。
Going through the halls是現(xiàn)在分詞短語(yǔ)，在句中用作狀語(yǔ)，表示評(píng)語(yǔ)正在進(jìn)
行的另一個(gè)動(dòng)作。又如：
Please quote us your lowest price CIF Lagos, stating the earliest fate of shipment. 請(qǐng)報(bào)你們最低拉各斯到岸價(jià)，同時(shí)告知最早裝船期。
We come here today, hoping to enter into business with you.
我們今天來(lái)，希望和你們做買(mǎi)賣(mài)。
4. You have certainly a great variety of goods on display.
你們展出的商品花色品種真多呀。
(1) a great variety of 種種，各種各樣
Much to our regret, we can’t book your order for a variety of reasons.
非常抱歉，由于各種原因我們不能接受你們的訂貨。
Our hand tools are made in a great variety of sizes.
我們生產(chǎn)的手工工具尺寸各式各樣。
(2) on display 陳列，展出
All the goods on display are for sale.
所有這些展出的商品都對(duì)外銷(xiāo)售。
Many customers are surprised by the rich variety of commodities on display.
許多顧客看到展出品種之多深感驚訝。
5．They are selling very fast on our market.
這些商品在我們的市場(chǎng)上銷(xiāo)售很快。
“商品銷(xiāo)售很快”英語(yǔ)中有許多表達(dá)方式。例如：
Our commodities are enjoying fast sales.
Our commodities have found a ready market in many countries.
Our products command a good market both at home and abroad.
我們的產(chǎn)品在國(guó)內(nèi)外市場(chǎng)都擁有良好的銷(xiāo)路。
6．So I hear.
我聽(tīng)說(shuō)是這樣。
在hope, suppose, think等動(dòng)詞后面可以用 so來(lái)代替上文所提到的內(nèi)容，以
避免重復(fù)。如果動(dòng)詞為say, understand, tell, hear, believe等，so還可以放在句子開(kāi)頭處。
--Will you go and visit the Fair this afternoon?
你今天下午去交易會(huì)嗎？
--I hope so.
我希望能去。
--They have been in the line of textiles for many years.
他們經(jīng)營(yíng)紡織品已有多年了。
--So I understand.
我是這么聽(tīng)說(shuō)的。
It’s going to be a busy season, or so the newspaper says.
這個(gè)季節(jié)生意將很忙，至少報(bào)紙上這么說(shuō)的。
7. As people the world over come to know better about China, Chinese products are
Getting more and more popular on the world market.
隨著全世界人民對(duì)中國(guó)了解的增加，中國(guó)貨在世界市場(chǎng)上也越來(lái)越受歡迎。口語(yǔ)中表示“貨物受歡迎“的常見(jiàn)表達(dá)方式有：
Our products are very popular with customers.
Our products have met with/have won a warm reception in many countries.
