“I’d rather + 從句‘這種結(jié)構(gòu)表示“寧可讓某人做某事。從句中一般用過(guò)去時(shí)表示現(xiàn)在或?qū)?lái)要做的事情，但也有用現(xiàn)在時(shí)的。
I’d rather you make a long distance call home for advice.
