      II. As an old client of ours, Mr. Smith, your know perfectly well that our quotations come in line with the ruling prices in the world market.

        Speaking of the quotation of your goods, our customers find it to be the first rate.
      IV. Your price sounds a bit too high.
        --To be frank with you, if it weren’t for our good relationship we’d hardly be willing to make a firm offer at this price.
        How do you like your new job?
      --If it weren’t for the hours, I’d like it very much.
        How do you like your new class?
      If it weren’t for the teacher, I’d like it very much.
      I’m very glad that we have concluded another transaction between us.
      --If it weren’t our your cooperation,  I would be in a very difficult position.
      V. Will you consider cutting down your price by 6%?
        --That’s more than we can promise you.
        Will you consider making shipment in November?
        --That’s more than we can promise you.
        For your information, there will be a rise in our price next week.
        --You don’t say! As it your price is more than we can bear.
        When will they place their orders with us?
        --That’s more than I Can tell.
