6．I beg your pardon?

  請你再說一遍。

I beg your pardon 有兩個意思。 一是“對不起”， 相當于“I am sorry, 說話時為降調：另一個意思是，當聽不清楚或聽不懂對方所說的話時，用來問對方“你說什么”，相當于“What do you say?或Will you repeat, please?這時要用升調。如果雙方比較熟識，也可以簡單說Pardon? What?例：

I beg your pardon, (but) is this your watch ?

對不起，這是你的手表嗎？

I beg your pardon for coming.

對不起，來打擾你了。

我沒弄懂exchange of needed goods的意思。

7. commission n.傭金（可數，不可炸毀）

We are commission agents. We sell goods on commission.

我們是傭金商，我們銷售商品取得傭金。

We do not pay commission to merchants dealing with us on principal-to-pricipal basis. Commission is allowed to agents only.

我們對不經過中間商直接買賣的商人不付給傭金，傭金只付給代理商。

This amount includes all your commissions.

這一數額包括你的全部傭金在內。

The insurance agent received a commission on every policy that the sold.

保險代理人每賣出一張保險單便收到一筆傭金。
