行，那正是我要建議的（要說(shuō)的）。
口語(yǔ)中有時(shí)為了使自己提出的請(qǐng)求或建議婉轉(zhuǎn)些，帶有試探性，還可以用I was wondering, I was hoping, 或I was thinking 等。例：
I was hoping we might both of us take a step forward and meet halfway.
我希望我們雙方都能進(jìn)一步協(xié)作，各讓一半。
I was thinking of payment by installments spread over a series of years.
我正考慮采用分期幾年的付款方法。
2. Any increase would have to be put onto the price and make it less competitive.
傭金的任何增加都會(huì)加到價(jià)格上，從而使價(jià)格的競(jìng)爭(zhēng)力下降。

have to 可以有各種時(shí)態(tài)，而且強(qiáng)調(diào)客觀上的必要性。
He said he had to see you about something important.
他說(shuō)有重要事情要見(jiàn)你。
We have in the first place to apologize for the damage to the consignment.
首先我們得為船貨受損一事表示歉意。
We may have to call the whole business off if you insist on your own price idea.
如果你方堅(jiān)持自己的價(jià)格意見(jiàn)，我們可能不得不取消這筆交易。
3. Moreover, when other customers get to know it , they are likely to raise questions.
而且其他客戶(hù)知道的話，很可能會(huì)提意見(jiàn)的。
likely作為形容詞，后面可以接不定式，也可以接從句。
Our supply position is not likely to improve much for some weeks to come.
我們的供應(yīng)狀況近幾周內(nèi)不可能有多大改善。
They are likely to turn to other markets for their requirement.
他們有可能轉(zhuǎn)向其他市場(chǎng)去滿(mǎn)足需求。
It did not seem likely that they would make an exception for us.
看來(lái)他們不會(huì)為我們破例。
It is likely that the goods have met with some accident on the way.
看來(lái)貨物可能在途中遇到什么事故了。
likely還可以作副詞，表示“很可能”。
Most likely the users are not willing to change their source of supply.
很可能用戶(hù)不愿改變他們的供貨來(lái)源。
