1． 表示數量的詞組

（1）a number of = a lot of許多

（2）a great deal of ＝a lot of 大量的，許多

比較：a great deal 非常（表示程度，作狀語）

（4）a variety of = various kinds of = all sorts of  許多，各種各樣的

2． 以all 開頭的詞組

（1）all at once 忽然，突然      

（2）all over 遍及

（3）all the time = all times= at all times      總是
