The Real Thing
A young man left his wife on the beach for a few minutines whild he went to buy some ice-0cream cones. When he came back, he saw a big crowd gathered around. “What happened? He asked a bystander.
“Some woman nearly drowned,” was the answer. “They’ve been workinbg on her down there.”
The young man pushed through the crowd. Sure enough, it was his wife. “What are you doing for her?” He shouted to the lifeguard.
“Giving her artificial respiration.” Replied the lifeguard.
“Artificial!” Howwled the young man.”Give her the real thing! I’ll pay for it.”

一個年輕人將他妻子獨自留在沙灘上,他剛要離開幾分鐘去買蛋卷冰激凌。當他回來的時候看到一大群人聚集在前面。“發(fā)生什么事了/他問一個旁觀的人。
“有個女人溺水了,‘那人回答,“他們正在那里搶救她呢。”
年輕人推開人群,發(fā)現(xiàn)那個女人是他妻子。“”你們在做什么呢?“他對救生員大喊著。”我們在對做人工呼吸。“救生員回答。
“人工的?“年輕人咆哮著說,”“給她些真東西!我會付賬的。”
