You Are Smarter Already!
A customer at Green’s grocery thought that the owner was very smart and asked,”tell me, what makes you so smart?”
“I wouldn’t share my secret with just anyone,” Green said, lowering his voice so that the other customers wouldn’t hear him, “but since you’re such a good customer, I’ll let you know it.It’s fish heards. Eat enough of fish heads and you’ll be smart.”
“Really? Said the customer. “Do you sell them here?”
“sure. Only $4 each,” Green said. The customer bought three., but returned a week later complaining that the fish heards were bad and he wasn’t any smarter.
“You didn’t eat enough.” Green answered, so the custoer bought 20 more. Two weeks later he went into the shop angrily once again.
“Hey, Green, you’re fooling me. You’ve me. You’ve selling me fish heads for $4 each when I can buy a whole fish for $2.”
“See!” Green said.” “You’re smarter already!’

“我是從來不與人分享我這個秘密的，”格林先生說，接著他壓低了聲音好讓其他顧客無法聽到他們的談話，“但是由于你是個大好人，我把這個秘密告訴你。這是魚頭的緣故。你吃了足夠多的魚頭之后我會變精明的。”
“真的嗎？”這名顧客說：“你這里出售魚頭嗎？”“當然啦，每只四元錢。‘格林說。于是顧客買了三只。一個星期后，他回來向格林抱怨說這些魚頭毫無效果。他一點兒也沒變聰明。
“那是因為你吃得太少了。”格林告訴他，因此這名顧客又買了20只魚頭。兩個臨危后他兩次地走進這家商店。
“嗨，格林，你在耍我。人這里的魚頭每只四元錢，可我從別處整條魚只需兩塊錢。”
“你看！”格林說，”你已經變得比以前聰明了！”
