第一個(gè)是“have had it”，have had it的意思是沒法用了，也口語翻譯為完蛋了。Have had it的主語是一件東西時(shí)，表示這東西已不能用；它的主語是一個(gè)人時(shí)，表示這個(gè)人要死亡或陷入麻煩。
例句：
Your washing machine has had it ,I’m afraid .You’ll have to buy a new one .
你的洗衣機(jī)恐怕已不能用了。你需要一臺新的。
I really thought I’d had it when I fell off the ladder
我從梯子上摔下時(shí)我一位自己真的沒命了。
Those socks have had it .You can’t possibly wear them any more .
這些襪子爛了，你沒法再穿他們。
情景模擬：
The radio has had it ,so has my satellite phone .
John needs help right now .
This might work ,if we’re lucky.
Let’s hope somebody spots the smoke .
第二個(gè)是“have a go”，have a go的意思是試一試。have a go通常表示試一下，have a go at(doing) something 則表示嘗試做某事。
例句：
I can’t open this bottle . You have a go！
這個(gè)瓶子我打不開，你來試一下。
I had a go at persuading James to change his mind , but he wouldn’t .
我試著勸說詹姆斯改變注意，可他就是不肯。
I’ve never ridden on a camel before, but I’d love to have a go .
我以前從未騎過駱駝，不過我很樂意試一下。
Tips：
have a go還可以表示輪到某人來做的意思。
例句：
You’ve been playing on the computer for hours . Let your sister have a go .
你玩了幾個(gè)鐘頭電腦，輪到你妹妹玩了。
情景模擬：
He’s painting the sky the wrong colour ,surely .
Those rocks don’t look right either .
And I certainly think he’s made the lighthouse too big .
