今天優(yōu)朗英語香港大學(xué)面試培訓(xùn)的李老師還為我們帶來了另一個(gè)很常見的英語句型：It be + not long before …，這個(gè)句型的意思是“不久之后，…….”我們要表達(dá)“不久之后，我就把這件事忘了”或“要不了多久，敵軍就會(huì)投降的”的時(shí)候都可以使用這個(gè)句型。
句型解析：
表達(dá)不久之后就完成了某事的句型
句型“It be + not long before+從句”，意思是“不久就….”。當(dāng)強(qiáng)調(diào)主句所表達(dá)的時(shí)間不長、話費(fèi)力氣小的時(shí)候，該句型的含義與before long 相近，都可以表示“不久……”、“很快….”
例句：
It be + not long before I know the result of the experiment .
要不了多久我就可以知道實(shí)驗(yàn)的結(jié)果。
It was not long before the ambulance arrived .
沒過多久救護(hù)車就來了。
It will not be long before the truth comes out .
不久真相就會(huì)大白了。

How are you getting on with the experiment ?
It won’t be long before I know the result of the experiment .
你的實(shí)驗(yàn)進(jìn)行得怎么樣了？
要不了多久我就可以知道實(shí)驗(yàn)結(jié)果。
