A: Good morning，ladies and gentlemen. I'm greatly honored to be here today. First please let me introduce myself. I graduated from Beijing Normal University with a major in mathematics. Teaching has always been my dream and I hope to make it my life-long career. I sincerely hope you can help me realize my dream. Thank you.
B: Good. Can you tell us a joke? We know humor plays a key role in teaching.
A: Certainly. Here goes the joke; In the first English class of a new semester, the English teacher asked all the students to introduce themselves in English. It went smoothly. Then a student came up to the platform and said, “My name is Wang Cheng. Wang means king, and Cheng means success.” But his next sentence made everyone burst into laughter, “You can call me WC for short.”
B: Very funny. I hope you can put your sense of humor into practical teaching.
A: I will try my best to do that.
C: What do you think are the most important qualities for a teacher?
A: I think a caring heart is the most important quality a teacher should possess, for if you don't really love your students, you can't devote yourself to teaching. Then they should be diligent, making learning a habit, therefore they can maintain their professional competence. A teacher should also have strong interpersonal skills, and then they can communicate smoothly with their students.
D: Good. Was there a course that you found particularly challenging?
A: Initially I was completely overwhelmed by the introductory chemistry course that I took last year. No matter how hard I studied, I seemed to be getting nowhere. I failed the first three quizzes. So I tried a new approach. Instead of just studying by myself, I asked a friend who's a chemistry major to help me with my studies. I also began seeking help from the professor after class. And I found that more time spent in the lab was critical. I ended up with A plus in the course and thought I achieved a solid understanding of the material. More than that, I learned that tacking a new field of study sometimes requires a new approach, not just hard work, and that the help of others can be crucial!
D: It seems that you have the ability to overcome difficulties, then if you meet some difficult students, how would deal with them? For example, they deliberately find faults with you, things like that.
A: First I should keep calm and not hit the ceiling, and then I will tell him that I need your support, just like you need other's support. Would you like to reject my support and help? I will touch them by my sincerity gradually.
E: You seem to be capable of dealing with those students. What else are you proficient in? you know a good teacher should be specialized and versatile.
A: In terms of this, you have found the right person. Besides my major, I'm also a great story-teller, I can dance, sing and play, so I believe I can play well with them. Haha.
E: Excellent, but don't just play with our students, because their parents will not allow that to happen. That's all. Nice talking to you.

B: 好的。你能給我們講一個笑話嗎？我們知道幽默在教學(xué)中起著重要的作用。
A: 當(dāng)然。笑話是這樣的：在新學(xué)期的第一節(jié)英語課上，英語老師讓所有的學(xué)生用英語做自我介紹。剛開始很順利。然后一個學(xué)生走上臺說：“我叫王成。王是王者的王，成是成功的成。” 但是她的下句話使大家都忍不住笑出來了，“你們可以簡稱我WC。”
B: 很有意思。我希望你能你的幽默感運用到實際教學(xué)中去。
A：我會炒這方面努力的。
C: 你認為一名老師最應(yīng)該具備的素質(zhì)是什么？
A：我覺得一名老師最重要的應(yīng)該是有一顆博愛的心，因為只有你真心愛你的學(xué)生，你才能全身心地投入到教學(xué)中。此外他們應(yīng)該勤奮，不斷學(xué)習(xí)，這樣才能保持自己的專業(yè)能力。老師同樣應(yīng)該有較強的人際交往能力，這樣他們就能和學(xué)生順暢的溝通。
D: 不錯。你是否發(fā)現(xiàn)某一課程特別有挑戰(zhàn)性？
A: 最初，我被去年的那門《化學(xué)入門》徹底難倒了。無論我怎樣努力學(xué)，似乎都毫無進展。開始的三次知識競賽我還失敗了。于是，我嘗試另辟蹊徑，我不再獨自埋頭苦干了，而是請來一位主修化學(xué)的朋友幫忙。同事，課后我向教授請教。我發(fā)現(xiàn)，多花點時間做實驗是非常關(guān)鍵的。最后，這一刻我考了個A+，并且完全理解了學(xué)習(xí)內(nèi)容。另外我懂得了一個的道理：進入一個新的學(xué)科領(lǐng)域，有時需要新的途徑而不僅僅是努力學(xué)習(xí)，同時別人的幫助也可能是個決定性因素。
D: 似乎你具備了解決問題的能力，那么如果你遇到了一些比較難對付的學(xué)生，你會怎么做呢？例如，他們故意找你的麻煩等等這些事情。
A: 首先我應(yīng)該保持冷靜，而不是大發(fā)雷霆。然后我會告訴他們我需要你們的支持，就像你需要別人的支持一樣。你想要拒絕我的支持和幫助嗎？這樣我會逐漸用我的真誠打動他們。
E: 你好像能夠應(yīng)付那些學(xué)生。你還有什么技能嗎？你也知道老師應(yīng)該是一專多能的。
A：從這點來說，你們找對人了。除了我的專業(yè)，我還擅長講故事，我會跳舞、唱歌、玩。所以我相信我能和他們玩到一起呀。哈哈。
E: 非常棒。但是不能光顧了和學(xué)生玩呀，因為我們的家長是不會答應(yīng)的。好了，很高興能和你交談。
