1. I have every reason to believe in your trade policy, don’t I?
我完全可以（有充分理由）信任你們的貿易政策，對不對？
（1） reason用作“理由，原因”其后常常可接動詞不不定式，從句或者介詞短語。
There is no reason to doubt that the market will recover from the present slackness.
沒有理由懷疑市場將從現今的蕭條狀態中恢復起來。
You are to give us the reasons for the delay in shipment.
你必須對裝船耽擱的原因給予說明。
That is no reason why you didn’t carry out the contract and establish the L/C on time.
那不能成為你不執行合同，不準時開立信用證的理由。
下列是外貿談判中reason一詞常用的句子：

（2） believe in相信，對……有信心

2． It is said that you are taking up a new foreign trade policy in your business dealings.
據說你們在業務往來中采取了新的外貿政策。
It is said + that clause 據說
It is said that the market is going to rise next week.

Activities.
有人對我說這項商品的出口屬于你們的業務范圍。類似的句型還有：

你能詳細解釋一下嗎？
句中的could 不代表過去式，而是一種委婉謙虛地提出問題的用法。與外商會話時could, would, should, might這類詞應學會多加運用。
I’m afraid we couldn’t give you a definite answer today. Would you come over tomorrow afternoon?
我怕今天不能給您一個肯定答復了。明天下午請您過來好不好？
We have got a cheaper variety of packing paper that might interest you.
我們有一種便宜的包裝紙，或許你會有興趣的。

在以上句子和短語中terms不可以用conditions代替。但下列句中terms 和
Conditions 可以替換使用，意思沒有差別。
The article was sold on high terms/conditions.
該商品以高價出售。
I can let you have it on very favorable terms/conditions, pay only $ 1000 now and the rest in easy payment spread out over 15 months.
我可以向你們提供優惠的付款條件，現在付1000美元，余額以優惠付款方式在長達15個月的期限內付清。
