      Heath: Oh, how wonderful! I had no idea that I would see such beautiful things here. They are so charming and attractive in design, color, and taste, Please give me two samples each of the toy bear  and the doll. What prices you quote for these two items?

      Heath: Are they on the basis of CIF terms?
      Huang: All prices are FOB with a commission of two per cent of you.
      Heath: But I’d rather have your lowest quotation CIF 2% San Francisco.
      Huang: That can be done easily. We’ll work out our CIF offer this evening and give it to you tomorrow morning. But could you give us a rough idea of the quantity you require?
      Heath: I think it would be better for you to quote your price first. The size of my order depends very much on your price.
      Huang: All right. We’ll see we can do.
      Heath: How long do you generally keep your offers open?
      Huang: The prices on the catalogue are without engagement. In case of firm offers we usually keep our offers valid for one day.
      Heath: Could you leave your offers open for three days? You see, I’ll have to send a fax to my customers and ask about their
            opinions. It takes time, doesn’t it?
      Huang: you have a good point. OK, we’ll consider it when we come to the concrete transactions.
