      6.You ‘re being an economist.
      你成經濟學家了。
      be +being從形式上看是be 動詞的進行式。它表達的意思是“暫時性的,與平時不一樣的”,帶有某種情緒,視情況而定。
        The car is being difficult.
        這汽車今天較起經營思想來了。(可能是埋怨、嘲謔)
       He’s being a fool.
        他裝糊涂。他裝瘋賣傻。(有譏諷的意思)
       Why, you are being polite.
        怎么啦,客氣起來了。(戲謔的口吻)
      7. Next time I shall see more of you.
      下一次我要多看你(按字面直譯,意思是要和你多聚聚)。
      8. I’m afraid I hav e to check inn now.

      Miss Lee has reserved a room for me, and I’d like to check in now.
      李小姐為我訂了一間房,現在我想(登記)住下來。
      The last guests to reach the hotel checked in at twelve o’clock.

        If you had carried out your part of agent to our satisfaction, we would have entertained to renew the agency agreement.
        It we had been informed in time, we would have reserved the supply for you.
      III. (Expressing agreement)
        My point of view is that it’s essential for a country to strengthen its economic contact with the outside world.
        -- I share your view.
        To be honest, I think their products are over-priced by at least 20%.
        --You are right. Their price doesn’t have an edge on competition.
        I’m sorry to have to say this. But I just don’t think our delivery department is doing an efficient job.
      I totally agree with you. Their efficiency has dropped a lot in the last year or so.
      Maybe it’s time we looked at changing the way our laser printer is packed.
      --That’s precisely what I think. Anything that will reduce damage of the goods must be a good idea.
      IV. (Expresssing disagreement)
        Well, from my point of view, adopting D/P payment terms would solve all the problems.
        --I’m sorry I disagree with you there. I don’t think that’s the answer.
        But don’t you think the present workload is too much ofr one person?
        -- No, I wouldn’t say that. In my opinion, it’s a question of organization.
        The survey report shows that the damage existed before shipping of the goods.
      I’m afraid I don’t go along with that for one minute. All the goods were strictly inspected by a well-known lab before shipment. And the B/L indicated the goods were loaded in sound condition.
      All his sales records indicate that he is a qualified candidate for our sole agent.
      With respect, I’m totally against the idea of his being chosen as our sole agent at this stage. His credit standing is not quite clear yet.
