A: We want to know how many people use our Sunshine washing powder. We also need to know why they use our washing powder or why they don't. This information will be used to make the marketing policy.
B: I see.
A: Have you tried our company's washing powder yet?
B: Yes. It washes very clean, but I don't like the smell of the washing powder. It smells weird.
A: So, I guess the type of smell is important to you.
B: That's true.
A: I see.

Wang Xue: We've just carried out a survey of both consumers and retailers regarding our future sound cards.
Li Hua: Did you get a positive response from the telephone survey? What do they say?
WangXue: Well, it looks like our plans for a fully functional but low end sound card were right on.
LI Hua: People are looking for cheaper ones?
Wang Xue: Of course. Price is an important variable in our market, so we can use it to build our customer base.
Li Hua: Right. They want lower prices, but most important, the cards must be reliable.
